I suspect the offender’s lame defense will be that someone told him to use his dog to attract women and he thought they said attack. From the San Francisco Examiner:
At 2:12 p.m., police responded to the area of Underwood Avenue and Keith Street where they met with a 55-year-old woman who said the most vicious dog in her neighborhood was her son’s friend. According to the woman, her son’s friend had his pit bull attack her after she rejected his sexual advances.
While walking in the area, the woman said she passed her son’s friend, who was walking his pit bull and carrying an unopened can of beer.
“When the suspect saw the victim, he walked up to her and grabbed her chest,” police said.
After the woman shoved the suspect away, he commanded his dog to attack her.
“The dog did as he was told and latched onto the victims arm,” police said.
The shocking assault only became more vicious. While the woman struggled with the dog, police said, the suspect “clobbered her on the head with the unopened beer can, knocking her to the ground where he proceeded to kick her.”
Eventually the woman managed to break free from the dog and run. Officers searched the area and found the suspect and a dog. The pooch was seized by Animal Care and Control, police said, and the suspect was booked at Bayview Station on multiple aggravated assault charges.
